Kırk Kapı Eğitim Kültür ve Sanat Derneği
Who Are We?
Kırk Kapı Education Culture and Art Association is a forward-looking and participatory civil society organization that contributes to society's development by bringing together culture, art and education. Based in Kayseri with a strong history, our association supports the artistic and cultural development of all segments of society through a wide range of activities ranging from theater and literature to seminars and international projects.
Why Us?
In the rapidly changing structure of society, the role of culture and art work is becoming increasingly important. Our association views art and education not as the privilege of elite circles, but as values accessible to all of society. We aim to reach people of all ages and backgrounds and foster personal development and social awareness.
How Do We Work?
We carry out our work through theater, text reading workshops, literary talks, seminars, library services and European Union projects. In each project, bringing out participants' creativity, developing critical thinking and discussing social values are at the forefront.
All our work is carried out with an interdisciplinary approach. The connection we try to establish between art and education aims not only to help individuals gain knowledge but also to shape their philosophies of life.
"Building a more conscious, more creative and more participatory society through culture, art and education — this is our most fundamental claim."
Our Mission
To reach all segments of society in the fields of culture, art and education and contribute to individuals' personal and social development. To create social awareness through theater, literature, seminars and international projects and enable people to understand themselves and their environment better.
Our Vision
To be a civil society organization that shapes Kayseri's and Turkey's cultural life, is recognized in the international arena and is pioneering in the fields of art and education. We aim to create a participatory and inclusive cultural ecosystem that collaborates with global networks and brings local values together with the world.
